Can't find PVA film? Dry the same detergent paste as thin wafers on baking paper. They are more fragile than film sheets but dissolve perfectly and need nothing you can't buy at the supermarket.
Method

Mix dry ingredients, add castile and water until it clumps when squeezed (like damp sand).

Press onto baking paper, lay another sheet on top and roll to about 4 mm.

Score into 5 cm squares. Air-dry 24 hours or dehydrate at 45 °C for 4 hours. Snap apart.
How to use
- One wafer per load in the drum.
