Most children hate mint. This paste uses freeze-dried strawberry powder for flavour and colour, keeps abrasives low, and is safe if a little is swallowed. For children under 6 it should be used under supervision, and talk to your dentist about fluoride — many Australian dentists recommend it for kids.
Method

Mix dry ingredients, work in coconut oil and glycerine to a smooth paste.
How to use
- A smear for under-3s, a pea for 3–6. Supervise brushing.
Safety
- No essential oils for children under 6.
- Xylitol is toxic to dogs — store out of reach.
